The biological Wheat and Spelt are among the farm’s premium products.
In particular, the Grani Antichi (Ancient Wheat) is of a type that hasn’t been cultivated for many years due to low yield and, hence, incompatibile with the onset of intensive farming and use of chemical products.
The return of this historic type of wheat has been an extraordinary discovery and has now become the base ingredient of low gluten products.
The farmlands of Montozzi also produce biological legumes and alfalfa for use as healthy fodder for cattle in many Tuscan farms.
